On 6 October 2026, the ATALANTA team visited the PortAbility project in Limassol, Cyprus, for a productive workshop focused on advancing gender equality and inclusion in the maritime sector.
During the workshop, the ATALANTA team presented key project findings on the challenges faced by women working on board ships, drawing on insights gathered through gap analysis interviews and focus group discussions.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and exploring opportunities for collaboration to strengthen support for women in maritime professions and foster a more inclusive industry.
