We are proud to announce that ATALANTA project has been shortlisted for the #MakeEUBlue Public Choice Award 2026.
The Public Choice Award is part of the EU4Ocean Coalition initiative and gives the wider public the opportunity to vote for the project they find most inspiring in advancing ocean literacy and blue skills across Europe. This recognition highlights ATALANTA’s contribution to promoting inclusive participation and capacity building in the marine and maritime sectors, supporting a more sustainable and equitable blue economy.
ATALANTA aims to empower women to enter and advance in maritime careers by enhancing access and inclusion into education, formal training, and learning with VR/AR tools. The project supports career progression and promotes gender equality and inclusive practices.
Voting process is now open and will run up to April 29, 2026 at 12:00 CET.
